Hey there, traveler! My name is Nadia Rausa (she/they) and I’m a half-Korean Creative Wizard living in Alaska, USA. Whether it’s painting, writing, using a camera for still photos or creating a film, having a needle in hand for embroidery or bookbinding, or pushing and pulling clay to create small sculptures, I have a passion for creating. My creative work has been described as haunting and ethereal, a descriptor I’m proud of. Outside of creating, I love the moon and stargazing, reading horror or fantasy books, watching and analyzing films, being in mossy forests, adventuring with my life partner, and cuddling with my kitty.
I’m also the co-founder and Creative Director of One to a Thousand, a small publisher and inclusive community, where we believe all people, of all cultures, have a story to tell. There, we publish a literary and art journal, Liminis, which is always accepting submissions based on the upcoming journal themes!
