Spiritual nu-roots. Concious lyrics. Expansive sounds. These are the unique visionary elements that make up Markandeya. From Gothenberg Sweden, Markandeya began his global vision over a decade ago as the founder of the eight piece orchestra Kultiration. Collaborative works have included OKA (AUS) and Little Dragon (SWE) and opening shows for Groundation (US) and Midnite (US). Most recently Markandeya is found appearing at the international acclaimed festival, BaliSpirit Festival (Indonesia), Earth Frequency (AUS) and Scandinavia ReggaeFestival (Denmark). With the recent release of Mirror of Words: Part two, Markandeya continues to both tour and spend time in the studio finishing part three of the trilogy, scheduled to come out in January 2016.
