Sony Music Animation Group is focused on specializing in US co-produced anime-based feature film content for theatrical use. Originally established on January 1, 2022, Sony Music Animation Group was headquartered in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan, with multiple headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia and Santa Monica, California.
