This channel is designed for you to get acquainted to Hindustani Classical music by relating Raagas to the songs, including Bollywood songs, composed by legendary musicians of India.
It will include a series of episodes. In each episode, we will get some basic information about the Raag with some examples of songs based on that Raag.
About Rujuta:
Rujuta is a disciple of well-known Gurus late Pt. Wamanrao Sadolikar, Mrs. Shruti Sadolikar-Katkar, late Pt. Vasantrao Kulkarni, and late Mrs. Jaymalabai Shiledar. Rujuta holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and is a Sangeet Visharad. Rujuta has performed in many music programs all over USA. Through music programs, she has raised funds for many charitable organizations. Rujuta is the founder and director of Koojun Music Academy. (www.koojunmusic.com). Koojun Music Academy is affiliated with ABGMVM, India. Rujuta has also published a book on “The Theory of North Indian Classical Music” which is followed by several music schools.
