Dr. REY A. GONZALES
- A former Child Piano Prodigy, Dr. Rey A. Gonzales at 12 y/o was a Philippine Grand Champion of the famed ABS-CBN Hamon Sa Kampeon, Piano, (DZXL, Channel 3, 1967). He won First Prize in a Bach Piano Competition defeating full time Piano Majors at the UP College of Music, 1977. He was under the tutelage of Prof. Rita "Conching" Villacorta, Prof. Asuncion Laureola & with his mom Angela Albano Gonzales, all from the UP Conservatory of Music. He is the son of Jose "Tinio" Violago Gonzales (TIPAN, Veneracion)
Born and raised in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, Philippines, Dr. Rey has a Doctor of Medicine from the UERMMMC College of Medicine and had General Surgery residency training in Bulacan Provincial Hospital. He is currently based in Los Angeles, California, USA, with the LA County Department of Health Services, Harbor UCLA, Nursing. He is with the American College of Health Care Executives, had an Executive MPH at UCLA and a 2nd Doctorate, an Executive DNP at UNM.
