BIOGRAPHY
Rasika Das is a kirtan singer and a devotee of the Hare Krishna movement with deep roots in South Africa and extensive international experience. Rasika Das was immersed in the Hare Krishna tradition from age four.
He earned a Bhakti Sastri Degree with Honors from VIHE in 1995 where he also studied harmonium & mrdanga. Legendary kirtan singer Aindra Prabhu asked him to join the 24-hour kirtan group. Kadamba Kanana Swami invited Rasika to tour Europe in 1997. Their dynamic kirtan performances drew large crowds in major cities across the EU. He also spent 10 years in the USA introducing kirtan to New Age & yoga students. He founded Kirtan108 in Los Angeles, an online platform that provides free harmonium lessons & kirtan to students worldwide where he continues to inspire a new generation of devotees.
