The KMCC (Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre) is a global organization of expatriates from the South Indian state of Kerala and it was formed in 1968. KMCC has today become the largest expatriate cultural organization in the world and promoting Muslim folklore, other artistically performance of Kerala Muslims and Islamic culture and heritage. KMCC has branches in USA, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Kuwait, KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and many more countries. KMCC works in the interests of expats from all over India, not just Kerala, and is known for its humanitarian and philanthropic activities all these 45 years. Abu Dhabi expatriates from Mattul (a beautiful village surrounded by Arabian Sea & Lakes in Kannur District in Kerala, South India) had formed a KMCC Branch in 2005. It is called Abu Dhabi Mattul Panchayat Committee. Like the parent organization Mattul unit has also carried out a number of notable charitable activities since its inception in 2005.
