Mr. Kumar retired from The World Bank in Washington, DC as Senior Industrial Economist after 25 years of service. He is an internationally acclaimed master Yoga teacher; a producer of 71 in-depth DVDs on Yoga therapy; a widely published author and poet of works in English and Hindi; and the recipient of numerous literary and service awards. He is Founder of Reform Education for a New World (RENEW) and Founder /Trustee of India Cultural and Spiritual Center a non-profit institution devoted to education in music, dance, arts, Yoga, and languages. He has a strong interest in the integration of arts, sciences, social welfare, and sustainable development. He has traveled to over 50 countries on 5 continents. His life epitomizes learning and serving.
