Cressi has been around since 1946 and is behind many inventions and evolutions of the spearfishing industry. It was Cressi brothers', Edigio and Nanni, passion for the sport and enthusiasm to create a speargun that would revolutionize the sport. In the beginning, all products were handcrafted and entrusted only to the two Cressi brothers, who would personally try them out. However as the company began to expand and the popularity increased eventually they had to increase production. Even today, with all the technology available, Cressi still insists that all products pass the test of long use in the sea before receiving the ok to go ahead with production.
