Our Academy has been bringing traditional Indian classical dances to the people since 1976 !!
Founded By: Late Shri. Ezhikara Ambujakshan & Late Smt. Ambika Menon
We have been the leader in promoting Indian classical dance in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai since the past 45 years. The institute has been instrumental in pioneering radical changes in the manner and style of imparting training in Bharatanatyam.
Over the years, the academy has become synonymous with excellence in classical dance. Now, in its 45th year the academy continues its noble mission under the guidance & capable leadership of Mrs. Abha Menon who is the daughter of Shri. Ambujakshan & Smt. Ambika Menon.
She is assisted in this noble effort with her team comprising of Mrs. Sonali Shigavan & Mrs. Remitha Sanath.
Hundreds of students graduate each year from the numerous centre's of the academy spread across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
The academy also trains students for the "Akhil Gandharva Maha Vidyalay" exams.
