Welcome to the official Iowa Hawkapellas YouTube Channel!
About us:
The Iowa Hawkapellas were established as a non-academic, woman-identifying student organization on the campus of the University of Iowa in 2001. We sing anything from jazz to pop music, making the most of the skills of our individual members year by year. The Iowa Hawkapellas are proud to be known as the only A Capella group hailing from Iowa to consistently compete in the ICCAs each year. Our members range in majors from science savvy Biomedical Engineering, tech heavy Computer Science, and to people curious Cultural Anthropology, all brought together by a shared love for creating music. Our members are proud of the music they create, and look happily to the future for taking their songs far and wide!
