Investigative Post is a nonprofit investigative reporting center based in Buffalo, N.Y. We produce fact-based investigative stories and analyses on issues that matter to the citizens and taxpayers of Buffalo and Western New York. Our objective is to expose waste, injustice and malfeasance and to hold those in power accountable.
Investigative Post was established in 2012 and is a member of the Institute for Nonprofit News. Our reporting coverage focuses on local government and politics, economics, immigration, urban affairs and criminal justice.
We distribute our work through our website, investigativepost.org, newsletters and social media accounts. We share selected content with 7 News /WKBW, the ABC affiliate for Buffalo; the Niagara (Falls) Gazette; Challenger Community News: and The Intercept.
