Cattle and Kids

We love cattle, we love this country, and we love our way of life! Caring for cattle can teach kids a lot, as well as providing plenty of adventures. Join us as we show you how we work to take care of hundreds of cattle in our southern Arizona grow yard...and have a lot of fun doing it! On any given day we might do some or all of the following: drive tractors, loaders, water trucks, side by sides, 4 wheelers; ride horses, ponies, or cows; feed cattle and horses, doctor sick calves, care for abandoned puppies, play with baby skunks, run away from javelinas, watch wild quail; clean water tanks, fix water lines, build fence, or weld corrals...just to name a few! All of this in order to keep the cattle we care for healthy and provide the best natural, local beef in the west: Copper Star Beef!
