Welcome to the official home of the Northumbria Community on Youtube. We are a a dispersed network of people, hugely diverse, from different backgrounds, streams and edges of the Christian faith, united in our desire to embrace and express an ongoing exploration into a new way for living, which has its roots in the Celtic and desert monastic traditions. Our Mother House - Nether Springs - is located in Northumberland, UK.
We follow a Rule of Life and have a daily prayer book - Celtic Daily Prayer - which contains our daily offices. The School for Monastic Living is an evolving, important aspect of our life alone, together.
