My journey into the world of fly tying and fly fishing began at the tender age of 14, marking the start of a lifelong passion that spans over 42 years.

I have been a fly designer with Fulling Mill/Orvis since 1996, and with the Montana Fly Company. Some of my designs were recognized when I was named Orvis Fly Tyer of the Year in 2005. I was also named a finalist for the Orvis Endorsed Guide of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2013, which highlighted my reputation as a fly fishing guide, which has spanned over 30 years.
