Farzana's Haldi Bakes & Cooks

Hi, I'm Farzana Rahman. At the onset I would like to thank you for visiting my channel. I come from the North East of India, a small town, named Borholla, in Jorhat, Assam and at present live in New Jersey, USA. My journey towards cooking and baking started since my childhood. As I grew up in a joint family, where I had seen an array of cuisines being served at our dinning table and hence I inherited a sophisticated palate and my passion for cooking and baking never ceased, but grew stronger. I love to play and explore different cuisines of the world, but my love for Assamese native cuisine always connected me to my roots. Hence, my channel will focus mostly on the Assamese comfort food, it's style of simple cooking, its flavors and the use of indegenous herbs in our diet that makes our cuisine even more so interesting and known to the world.
I learnt most of my recipes from my Mom and other family members. I take this God's gift as an opportunity to share my passion with you all.
