In 2018 our family bought a hurricane damaged sailboat. She needed a lot of work and our budget was tight so we spent the next three years doing the refit by ourselves. In 2021 we put her back in the water, moved aboard and started learning how to sail her.
Over the past seven years our kids have grown and moved to their next adventures leaving us with one child on the boat. Now, as almost empty nesters and grandparents, we’re learning to balance our adventures with making memories with the next generation.
