Channel Description
We are two ordinary people from the UK. We both work full-time, however we enjoy our downtime and embrace all that life offers us. One of the main themes will be our adventures on the road in our touring caravan but we will also include other areas of interest.
Why The Blue Door? For many years we had a print above our bed which shows a battered blue door of a cottage which was ajar and through it you could see a hallway and a door on the other side. We love the picture as it suggests endless possibilities – you just want to go through the blue door, have a nose around and then out of the far door to whatever lies beyond.
Doors, arches, paths have always meant adventure and discovery for both of us – and that’s why we chose that name. It allows us to talk about any theme we wish and share that with you all.Back to the caravan! With four children between us, we increasingly found the cost of a holiday rising and this meant we could only afford one ‘escape’ each year - NOT ANY MORE.
