Krys Kofi

It's extremely rare to find an artist mastering multiple styles. Krys Kofi seamlessly blends RnB reminiscent of Toronto's early 2010s scene, Rap that's both egotrip-driven, profound, and melodic Afrobeats influences. He handles recording, mixing, and mastering. From his breakout single "My luv is real" in 2017 to his hit "Kofi's Universe, Pt1(Flex)" which finished at number one in the Trace Urban Cameroon chart, Krys has taken us on a journey through predominantly Rap, RnB and AfroBeats styles. Born Christian Junior Kofane Mayang, Krys started out in an environment that wasn't very conducive to rap "from elsewhere". He was heavily influenced by Drake, JCole, Tory Lanez and Kendrick Lamar to name just a few. 2020 saw the release of the single "Codes", heralding his debut EP "The Playtime Is Over".
