Saor Patrol pronounced (shore) have since moved on a bit and are now a world wide touring public relations unit for Scotland and The Clanranald Trust.
Visually they have an incredible stage presence and while some of Charlie's peers decided to go down the route of simply taking traditional music and "making it more tribal" he preferred to write his own material, as artists tend to do, thus giving Saor Patrol their own identity. They are quickly earning more and more new friends on a huge scale helped by the vibrant, exciting tribal skirl of the pipes, driven on by the incessant pounding of the drums which seem to be syncronised with the very heart beat of our planet.
