Hi, my name is Micheline.
I’m a child of the post-war baby boom era and the daughter of a Frenchman and an English Geordie lady. I learned to sew at the age of 14, taught by my mother, and my love for making things has grown ever since. My father was a watchmaker and jeweller who could turn his hand to anything, and I believe I inherited skills from them both.
I started this channel because there weren’t many plus size sewing vloggers around my age, and patterns often only show slimmer figures. My aim is to educate, amuse, and encourage those who want more than sitting in front of a TV—while having fun along the way. From time to time, His Lordship makes a cameo appearance too!
