Hey everybody, and welcome to Welcome Grove Homestead! We are a homesteading family in East Tennessee. We started as an urban homestead out in California, and God enabled us to move out here and live our dream of having a full-blown homestead in the country! We are working with nearly 60 acres, growing hay to feed our diverse group of animals, from goats and sheep to pasture pigs and cows. We've got some smaller critters here too, from rabbits to a variety of poultry.
We want to share our journey, and our lessons, with you! We try to bring the honest truth about homesteading in our videos, sharing the joys and sorrows, successes and failures. We want to help people learn about the things we do. Amanda has a reputation for being a bit of a nerd, so she tries to explain some of the WHY and HOW we do what we do.
Homesteading isn't only on the big properties! You can grow food and be more self-sufficient exactly where you are! As we always say: You can GROW where you're planted!
