The Heart of Yoga comes to us via Mark Whitwell and friends around the world, the Yoga as taught by T. Krishnamacharya and his son T.K.V. Desikachar, and refined by friendship with the sage UG Krishnamurti.
We are about yoga adapted to individual needs: age, body type, health and cultural background. No one should be excluded from Yoga. If you can breathe you can do Yoga.
And what is Yoga? Yoga is a gift from the ancient world: direct participation in reality, the power of the cosmos that brought you here in the first place and is currently sustaining you as pure intelligence, unspeakable beauty and intrinsic harmony, life as it is.
The ancient wisdom of yoga teaches that Life is already given to you, you are completely loved, you are here now. Yoga is the practical method to feel the truth that we glimpse in moments of inspiration: that we are not, cannot be separate from nature. Yoga is your direct participation in nurturing source.
