We put safe lifting at the centre of everything we do. Forty years' of experience enables us to design and manufacture the best floor lifting equipment on the market. Our lifting cushions protect healthcare workers from musculoskeletal injury sustained through moving and handling. They also support elderly fallers by providing a dignified lift.
Elderly falls account for more than 10% of all ambulance calls outs. To support the service we worked with NHS Ambulance Trusts to create the ISTUMBLE health assessment app. When used with the Mangar lifting cushions and lifting chairs – Camel, ELK and Eagle - is proven to reduce avoidable ambulance calls outs, hospital admissions and the associated challenges of deconditioning.
Across the Mangar lifting cushion range we have lifting, bathing and bedroom products that promote user independence and reablement.
