A Bad Think is a Los Angeles-based project driven by Michael Marquart, one-man wonder and multi-instrument wizard.
Marquart is a record producer and has worked with many outstanding artists including No Doubt, Alias, The Connells, Abra Moore, Sponge, Buffalo Tom, Frente, Love Spit Love, The Nixons and Dishwalla. Marquart writes and performs all of the tracks with help from the industry's top studio musicians and engineers.
Marquart received a Grammy nomination in 2020 for his 5.1 surround sound album “The Savior,” in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. “On My Own” from A Bad Think’s first album was nominated for the 2010 eWorld Music
Awards (formerly Hollywood Music Awards).
His newest album “Short St” was released in Dolby Atmos in July 2023.
