Serra was born from the idea that humanity needs a new story to live by.
The old way isn't working, and as our environment and society slips into further degradation, we are faced with the need to reassess the root cause of our destructive ways being: the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, why we are here and our place within the world.
We are reimagining a new myth to live by, one not clouded by naïve visions of utopia, but a sense of clarity.
Through our visual and written stories, we aim to uncover inspiring individuals and communities who are finding ways to challenge convention, bridge division and experiment with new approaches to living – with the understanding that this potential exists within all of us, no matter who or where we are.
