Surviving Schizophrenia Channel Description Snapshot

Channel Description

Hi, everyone! I’m Stephen, and I’m excited to welcome you to Surviving Schizophrenia, a channel built on hope, strength, and community for anyone navigating mental health challenges.

At age 12, I spent two weeks at UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and was diagnosed with schizophreniform disorder, which later developed into schizophrenia and an anxiety disorder. I live with treatment-resistant, childhood-onset schizophrenia.

Here, you’ll discover inspiring stories, practical advice, and a raw yet compassionate perspective on living with a misunderstood condition. More importantly, you’ll find a welcoming community. As I navigate these unpredictable waters, I invite you to join me—share your stories, or listen to the echoes of triumph and perseverance from around the world.

Subscribe today and join us in creating a future where mental health is met with empathy, understanding, and unwavering support.

With gratitude and friendship,
Stephen
