Hi, I’m Sertug – a whisky enthusiast who turned curiosity into a journey.

In 2024, I was selected as one of the first-ever Benromach Champions. As part of this honor, I helped select and release a special single cask — and in doing so, became the first Turkish person to have their face, name, and signature featured on an official Scotch whisky bottle: the Benromach Champions Edition 1.

I co-run The Viskici, a whisky tasting community based in Ankara with over 250 members where we host regular tastings and events bringing together passionate whisky lovers from across Türkiye and beyond.

I’ve completed the Edinburgh Whisky Academy’s certificate programs in both Scotch and Irish whiskies, graduating with distinction. My learning continues through distillery visits, whisky books, and watching other WhiskyTube creators.
