This local heritage information hub is dedicated to documenting, preserving, and sharing the social and military history of Sunderland through illustrated talks, guided tours, interviews, and curated historic photographs, we explore the people, places, and events that shaped our local community.

Most of the images and stories featured come from local archives, community collections, and original research, and are presented with historical context for entertainment purposes.

The channel is run as part of a charitable heritage initiative and all staff are volunteers so any revenue generated through YouTube supports the ongoing preservation of local history, archival work, and public engagement activities.
