We’ve been telling DMV stories long before it was trendy. Founded in '92, Ruffin 2 Productions launched No Budget Films USA as a revolutionary platform for bold, raw, street-smart filmmaking that speaks truth to power.
Our legacy includes The DC Drama Magazine (circa 2006), a gritty video magazine aired on DCTV and MCAT in Harlem, NY, that spotlighted authentic voices and real issues. From that came the legendary GO-GO ROUNDTABLE, a DMV cultural archive dedicated to the heartbeat of D.C.: Go-Go Music.
In 2022, we evolved again.
DC Drama Magazine was reborn as LIONS DEN TELEVISION (LDTV) — a tribute to the urban literary classic MARYLAND BOYS by Calvin Ruffin II. LDTV is our new frontline in the war for cultural appreciation, preservation, and elevation.
