Channel Description
Controlled Weirdness, aka Neil Keating, is a veteran producer and DJ who has been at the forefront of club and sound system culture since the 1980s. His DJ journey spans from plush clubs to dirty warehouses, including shows on several iconic London pirate radio stations. Neil has released music on numerous underground labels and organised legendary early raves in the USA during the early 1990s.
Still actively DJing in the UK and internationally, Neil possesses an eclectic, deep music collection. He runs Presence Unknown, a vinyl and digital label releasing music influenced by his love of Electro, Acid House, and Rave. Neil hosts a fortnightly show on Planet Wax On-Air, continuing his mission to introduce audiences to amazing music they've never heard before.
His recent podcast, "Tales from a Disappearing City," allows Neil to share untold subcultural stories from his lifelong journey through subterranean London, featuring friends who've joined him along the way.
