Ronald Layman is a fourth generation decorative finisher and designer, whose family has been in the painting trade since the 1890’s. It all started with his great grandfather Joe. Ronald’s grandfather and then father continued and expanded the family painting services and soon they were restoring church interiors and historic buildings.

In 1996, he started his own business out of the back of his pickup truck and today employees 20-25 full time decorative artists, plaster installers and carpenters. After being asked by a local casino to do some faux painting work, he was hooked. Fast forward to the present: Ronald has become one of the most renown faux painters in America; with such prestigious faux painting commissions as: The Kennedy Center, The International Monetary Fund, Smithsonian Institute, National Gallery of Art, British Embassy and US House of Representatives, International Monetary Fund to name a few.
