This channel focus will be to document my introduction and learnings in handling venomous snakes with Dr. Ray Hunter @CobramanRayHunter .... and any other Herp-related or Florida nature and wildlife encountered on my many hikes.
UPDATE: in February of 2023, I began learning to pin cobras and then extract venom.
This journey is less documented but an exciting new chapter for me.
I created an in-person herping group in Jan/Feb of 2022 and have public pages on both Instagram and Facebook. You can find us by searching for

There are 13 of us and we try to herp together once a month but it’s not always possible. However we have already had many wild adventures.
