Hello! My name is Jess and welcome to Weird Westeros!
I first fell in love with Game of Thrones when I started watching the show back in 2013 - my roommate at the time bugged and bugged me until I binge watched seasons 1-3 in a week.
I loved the show so much that I decided to read the books and I'm so glad I did because this helped me fall in love with the larger world of Game of Thrones. The weird histories of the Five Forts of Yi Ti, the weird lore of the tunnels under Leng and the weird theories that tie ancient aliens to the Iron Islands.
This channel is a passion project of mine, to scratch my own itch if you will. I wanted to improve my communication skills through video production, while sharing my favorites bits of lore from one of my favorite story series: A Song of Ice and Fire.
So, just because the show is over (let's not talk about season 8), doesn't mean there isn't anymore to learn and explore in the world of a Game of Thrones.
