Channel Description
Nick Akin is a Christian music artist, singer-songwriter, and worship leader from Atlanta, Georgia with a passion for sharing the love of Jesus through music. He has been involved in music ministry from an early age, gaining real-life ministry experience traveling with his family, The Akins. During this time, Nick wrote many chart-topping Gospel songs, including “What If God Says No” and the #1 song, “I Want My Stage To Be An Altar”. This song became an anthem of his family’s ministry and continues to be the heart of Nick’s solo music ministry today.
Nick went on to form Contemporary Christian / Worship band, Brothers Abiding, with his brother, Eli. Nick and Eli recorded an album of 10 original songs and in the midst of a global pandemic, they continued to tour and share the Gospel through outdoor concert events called “Abide Outside”. God not only used this ministry to change lives, but also to prepare Nick for the future that would become a solo music ministry.
