The Pashchim Project Channel Description Snapshot
Channel Description
"The Pashchim Project" is run by Hindi, English and Urdu Poets from the South Asian community in the West, predominantly in the USA. Our approach is different. Instead of focusing solely on language instruction, we're creating parallels between Hindi and English literature, making it relatable to youngsters. Imagine understanding Mahadevi Verma or Amrita Pritam through the lens of Maya Angelou. That's the essence of what we aim to achieve. Through various social experiments like town halls featuring Hindi and English laureates, video productions of poetry, author interviews, and writing workshops, we're engaging the youth and fostering a deeper connection with language and literature.
