Welcome to The Friesian Experience, a family-run, not-for-profit sanctuary in the heart of the Lake District, UK.
We are dedicated to the education and welfare of Friesian horses, providing a safe haven for those in need. Whether you visit us in person or connect with us online, our horses offer a unique and therapeutic experience, allowing you to share in their incredible energy.
Our channel is home to a wonderful community of animal lovers from around the world, and with your support, we’ve already achieved so much for the horses—we can’t wait to share what’s next! We love hearing from you, and while Tracey isn’t always able to reply personally, she reads as many comments as she can between daily farm life. Frey also keeps a close eye on things, along with our fabulous community members, Diane Cox (our quilting queen) and Liesa Ficeto.
