Founded in March 2022 in Syracuse, New York, Modovolo rethinks how drones are designed, built, and maintained. Engineered around a central payload bay, they are the industry’s first true payload-first drone. Every component is either 3D-printed 
in-house or sourced in the USA, with modular truss parts enabling rapid replacement and field repair. This combination of flexibility, durability, and cost-efficiency supports missions across defense, public safety, agriculture, and research. Embracing right-to-repair, factory-as-a-service printing, and scalable design, Modovolo delivers a breakthrough platform. As of October 2025, we are currently rated at Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL-4).
