Boggy Creek Beast

As a child growing up in the 70's and 80's you heard lots of strange stories. Some of these tales were actually adapted to film. For me, the drive-in classic that comes to mind is "The Legend of Boggy Creek". The movie is about a creature that allegedly roamed the woods and swamps near Fouke, Arkansas terrorizing the locals. As a child its fascinating to imagine that a giant, bipedal, Sasquatch like creature could be lurking around. As you mature, before your imagination goes bye-bye, you like to think that if there were such a creature that he would most definitely shy away from humans. It would probably seek refuge in the forests and swamps to live as nature intended. Free from "civilization" and far away from it. What could be better? That last thought....it kind of stays with you.
