I have 11 years of teaching experience across 9 schools in Japan and 4 schools in North Carolina. My passion lies in building strong educational foundations for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I hold a Bachelor's in Communications with a Journalism focus from Elon University (2008) and a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2017). Currently, I am a Doctoral Student at the American College of Education, pursuing an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction.
