Linescapes explores the significance of drawing in the process of creative thinking.
For us, hand drawing fulfills three important roles in design: it is an analysis through which we see and observe our surroundings, it is a tool for thinking and developing ideas, and lastly, drawing is a means of communication that allows us to explain our thoughts to other people. That is why Linescapes offers tutorials on how to draw, talks with professionals about their drawing techniques and other content regarding hand drawing.
Our vision is to trigger a debate about the value of drawing for landscape architecture.
