R-CALF USA is the largest producer-only cattle trade association in the United States. It is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the continued profitability and viability of the U.S. cattle industry.
R-CALF USA represents independent U.S. cattle producers, backgrounders and feeders in national and international trade and marketing issues. R-CALF USA has a one-member, one-vote policy regardless of the amount invested. Voting members must own cattle. Associate members do not own cattle but want to support rural America and prefer their beef comes from U.S. family owned and operated ranches.
Activities carried out by R-CALF USA are funded exclusively by the independent cattle producers, main-street businesses, and other individuals who pay their membership dues and contribute to fund-raisers. R-CALF USA’s work is directed by its member-voted policy.
