I am a U.S. board-certified family medicine doctor with nearly 25 years of experience, ranging from rural community clinics to international hospitals in Beijing. Currently, I care for patients virtually via Teladoc's P360 Virtual Primary Care group. My focus is prevention and wellness mostly via lifestyle.
Since medical school, I’ve been writing public health articles, including my popular blog at myhealthbeijing.com. I was a healthcare influencer in China for 10 years, contributing a health column to the New York Times in China. I've given a TEDx talk, published a book, and been interviewed by major outlets like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg.
I’ve been recognized as a Top Doctor in the USA since 2015 and Top Family Doctor in Seattle (2022-2023). WONCA highlighted my work in their 2014 book *Family Doctors in the Field*. I uphold strict ethical standards and have twice earned HONCode certification.
I live near Seattle with my wife and two boys.
