DHZB Lange Symposium

The DHZB Lange Symposium, devoted to the exciting field of congenital heart disease, has been held annually since 2005. The symposium’s specific format has made it an important event in this field, for professionals well beyond the borders of Germany.

Since the beginning, the invited researchers and clinicians from all over the world have given lectures and discussed their subjects in an open atmosphere that is conducive to interactive and intensive professional exchange. Each year the symposium is dedicated to a different topic within congenital heart disease and the associated technical innovations, clinical concepts and expected future developments in research and practice. The number of guests, which is limited to 300, allows sufficient time and space for intensive and direct discussion and networking. In the past years, the DHZB Lange Symposium has become internationally recognized. One third of all speakers and participants now come from Europe or other parts of the world.
