In the First letter to the Thessalonians and in Chapter 5:1-11, Paul tells us the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night ( unexpected ), when the world ( those in darkness ) least expect it,
but that "We are not of the night or of the darkness." We should not be "surprised", for we are "children of light", and "we belong to the day".
