Channel Description
A look through the past spanning the last 100+ years, historical footage covering everything from military to slice-of-life. Scanning mostly produced footage now, but some home movies as well. No AI video, AI colorization, AI upscaling is used on this channel.
All scans/transfers and processing done in-house from film on custom frame by frame scanner. Edited, framed & color-corrected in Resolve, with soundtracks compiled from PD & licensed music for silent. 16mm Frame resolution is "2K" (~1440p), scaled to 2160p for higher quality on YT.
For professional inquiries/use of footage in project, e-mail address is viewable below (on full website, not app).
Cleared films (Government, non-renewed/non-filed published, films of 95+ years, life + 70, or explicitly) are monetized on this channel. Otherwise - just here for your enjoyment or research! Revenue will go towards scanner equipment & film costs.
