What is it like to live on a small island in the Wadden Sea?
We live and work on Vlieland; one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Dutch Wadden area. Scotland has stolen our hearts and we make the occasional travelogue there too.
We are Folkert Janssens and Nancy Janssen. We both love photography and Nancy started making videos in 2014.
Folkert is an amateur biologist with broad interests, but insects and large mammals especially intrigue him.
Nancy photographs landscapes and is interested in astronomy. You will find her at night in strange places to take that one unique photo.
Our mission is to show how beautiful the world can be and is.
Because we strive for quality rather than quantity and because we work in tourism, we have little time to make videos in the months of July and August, but outside these months we enjoy sharing with you all the beauty and peculiarities around us.
