Skydog Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit that rescues at-risk mustangs and burros across the United States from neglect, abuse and mistreatment as well as reunites families of mustangs separated during roundups where possible. Our equally important mission is to educate, inform and raise awareness of wild horse and burro issues to inspire others to get involved also. Wildness matters. Mustangs matter.

Right now America’s wild horses are being threatened with being killed or sterilized by the Government and this is unacceptable and wrong. There are over 44,000 wild horses currently locked up in BLM holding pens across the American West and they need our help NOW. There are better humane ways to manage wild horses on the range without roundups and holding pens.
