Dr Shabir Awan

Dr. Shabir Awan is Consultant Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. After securing MBBS from Peshawar, he did FRCS from UK, AO fellowship from Canada, American Board Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery FABMISS from USA, Fellowship in Laser Spinal Surgery and Diploma in Orthopaedic Engineering from UK. An Author of internationally recognised book “The Pearls of Orthopaedic Training”. He is chief Editor of magazine "Ortho Bulletin". He wrote a foreword of book "A to Z of Orthopaedics by Prof Augusto Sarmiento MD. He is very good teacher, welfare & social worker, hiker, photographer, speaker, Philanthropist and administrator. He is running 20 educational and social WhatsApp groups. Also providing health awareness on different TV shows and FM channels as well as on social media. The trainees in orthopaedic consider him blessing for them and call him great mentor and their Guru. After serving for more than 20 years in UK, now he is providing services in Peshawar and Islamabad.
