The Shake Ups

The Shake Ups are an award-winning, power-pop group that plays songs from and about their favorite cartoons! The band is comprised of Patrick O'Connor (vocals, guitars), Savannah O'Connor (keyboards), Lee Cherolis (bass), Luisanna Rodriguez (vocals), Ed Cho (guitars) and Steve Hinckley (drums). Originally formed in 2005, the band performed in and around the Midwest before briefly relocating to the west coast. The Shake Ups have since performed with musicians and voice talent from the animation industry, and were awarded the title of best local pop band in the Nuvo Newsweekly reader's poll for three consecutive years. They have recorded full albums dedicated to My Little Pony, Steven Universe and Voltron, as well as original tunes inspired by the likes of Scooby Doo, Teen Titans. the Jetsons, He-Man, She-Ra and others. The Shake Ups continue to build on their reputation as the Midwest's most animated band, performing at pop culture conventions across the U.S. for fans of all ages.
